A little guide for future hosts

Planned support: a weekly 60-minute activity plan, bilingual parent guides and prompts for small play stations. Delivery, training and any costs will be agreed before launch.

Every province.
Every little community.

We want families in every province to have another way to connect. Our long-term ambition is a parent-child playgroup in every tambon — a local subdistrict — with neighbourhood groups adapted for Bangkok too.

Each proposed group brings together around 10–12 children and their parents or caregivers. Stories, songs, making and movement bring English into shared experiences. Parents get to laugh, play, make friends and enjoy seeing their children discover something new.

We’re gathering interest. Local groups are not operating yet. No venue, date or place is confirmed. Your enquiry helps us understand where families would like to begin.

One platform. Three ways to belong.

Learn together

Our planned ages 3–6 online pilot pairs short English-led circles with offline invitations. Explore with a familiar adult, at your own pace.

Connect close to home

Proposed tambon playgroups bring the same weekly themes into local, parent-supported play. In-person groups would be larger than online teaching circles.

Make time for joy

Shared games, songs and conversations give parents something to enjoy with their child, and a chance to meet other grown-ups. No perfect English or perfect parenting required.

A little gathering
could look like this.

A proposed 60-minute gathering for ages 3–6, with breaks and early departures welcome. Families choose the time and frequency once a group is ready.

  1. 10 minutes · Say helloA simple English song and a choice of ways to join.
  2. 15 minutes · Follow a storyAct, point, ask a question or wonder together.
  3. 25 minutes · Play and makeSmall activity stations, safe movement and parent-child discovery. Adults connect while staying alongside their children.
  4. 10 minutes · Share a little joyShow a creation, notice a kindness and choose something to try at home.

English is the shared learning language. Thai and other home languages remain welcome for comfort, understanding and safety. Participation is optional; online and home activities remain a complete way to take part.

From local interest
to a welcoming group.

  1. Tell us where you would like to connect. Share your province and, if comfortable, your district and tambon. Tell us whether you would like to join or discuss helping organise.
  2. Plan together. MMi reviews local demand and speaks with interested adults. Location details and family contacts are not published or passed to other parents without separate permission.
  3. Confirm before meeting. An organiser, suitable venue, age mix, capacity, accessibility, supervision, emergency arrangements and any fees must be agreed before a group opens.

A target of 10–12 children is a planning guide, not an automatic launch rule. Group size may be smaller depending on the venue and children’s needs. Expressing interest does not make someone an approved organiser.

Grown-ups stay. Care comes with us.

Every child attends with a parent or designated caregiver who remains responsible for direct supervision. These are proposed parent-child gatherings, with no drop-off childcare or physical school campus.

Before any MMi group opens, its arrangements must include organiser review, a venue and activity safety check, first-aid and emergency plans, a clear concern-reporting contact, and separate photo permissions. No photography of other families without permission.

Local gatherings are separate from the online pilot. Costs and any insurance must be confirmed in writing. Accident insurance is not currently included.
